Kid Cudi's album is officially dropping this year! He confirmed his album would have a late summer release and is being projected to drop September 15th. Confirmed guest appearances on the album include Kanye West, Common, and Snoop Dogg, which is pretty damn good talkin bout a debut album. Kid Cudi also said he is gonna lay low until the album drops. Some of the songs for the album have already dropped officially (Day N' Nite & Maker Her Say) while others have already been featured in mixtapes (Sky Might Fall & Dose of Dopeness). So late summer make sure you check this one outtt!

Shining Down

Ok so the day after my birthday (july 7) Lupe Fiasco released his next single called Shining Down with Matthew Santos, the same voice in a couple of his previous songs including Superstar and Fighters. The song had already leaked onto the internet july 16th when someone hacked Lupe's email and posted the preliminary version which quickly spread on the net. Lupe himself was upset because of the history he had when his first album leaked and record sales weren't as high because it was so easily accessed on the internet. The song still hasn't hit with all the mainstream music bbut then again it took a month or two for superstar to get all the hype it got so the billboard hot 100 top spot better watch out!! (its only been on the charts for a week and its at the 93 spot already drake's best i ever had got the #1 spot for hip hop)

Ok so i hope i hope i dont seem late with this but i just wanna say i'm really diggin D.O.A. (Death of Autotune) by Jay-Z. The beat is just too sick and it even covers up the average (average as in not his best; not average from other hip hop artists) lyrics. i mean the video is hot too! i think erbody who wants a top spot on the charts is gonna have to watch out! (except for lupe when lasers drops! ;) )
